Can we ask questions and answer them, if we believe that other people may refer to them in the future?
Is it ethical to do this to get better reputation in this community?

$\begingroup$ Although infrequent, there does exist an award for such action (implying that it is sanctioned by the site). However, as others have mentioned, this behavior is likely highly discouraged as higher quality answers may likely be given by others (although not always!) $\endgroup$– EthanOct 29, 2020 at 19:51
